Vegetation cover in and near drained basins in Old Crow Flats, Yukon, Canada

From August 25 to September 1, 2022, fieldwork was conducted in Old Crow Flats, Yukon (Canada) to study thermokarst lake and drained basin dynamics. As part of this work, percentage cover estimates of the vegetation were made at 10 sites located near or in drained basins; this publication presents the data. Each vegetation survey was done with five 1m by 1m quadrats along north-south and east-west axes (centered on one of the quadrats), at 15 m intervals. The vegetation was then classified into functional groups and the average height of each group was also measured. Active layer depth measurements are available in a NordicanaD publication by Turner et al. (2022).
