T3 is a basic mast where ground surface temperature and air temperature (2 meter above ground) are measured. The mast was installed in October 2014. It is located on the slope of Skarvefjeld (400 m above sea level) along the southwestern ridge. Rocks and soil with sparse vegetation cover the ground surface. Time stamp refer to UTC-3. Missing ground surface temperatures in the period 29 March 2017 to 7 July 2017 are due to a cable cut by a rodent. Similar masts are found at other altitudes covering a gradient from 0 to 830 m above sea level (T2-temperature_830m, T1-temperature_125m, T4-Temperature_1m)
