SoilFen is one of the three automatic soil stations in Kobbefjord. Data from the station is found under Meteorology (air temperature, relative humidity and PAR) and Soil Properties (soilwater chemistry, soil temperatures, soil heat flux). The station was established in 2007 and is placed in the moist fen 40 m.a.s.l. close to the InteractFen (Meteorology, Soil Properties, Snow Properties), the EddyFen and the Methane station (Fluxmonitoring). The station (CR1000 logger) is running UTC-3 West Greenlandic Winter time (WGWT) and logs data every five minutes. Since 2025 data is delivered as 30min averages of the timeseries, contact the program manager for the 5 min timeseries. The SoilFen SoilProperties 30min data set consists of soil temperatures (thermocouples, 105T), radiometric measured surface temperature (2007-2012: Apogee, IRR-P, 2012-: Campbell IR100) and soil heat flux (Hukseflux, HFP01).
