SoilEmp 30min

SoilEmp is one of the three automatic soil stations in Kobbefjord. The station was established in 2008 and is placed on empetrum (crowberry) vegetation on the eastern side of the river 33 m.a.s.l. The station (CR1000 logger) is running UTC-3 West Greenlandic Winter time (WGWT). Soil temperatures (thermocouple, 105T) and soil heat flux (hukseflux, HFP01) are logged every 30 minutes, while the soil moisture (ML2x and SM300) is logged every six hours (see SoilEmp 6h).
