Soil volumetric water content and temperature data, Tasiapik Valley, Nunavik, Canada (2014-2021)

This dataset includes soil volumetric water content and temperature data from a permafrost mound (i.e., lithalsa) located within the Tasiapik Valley, near the village of Umiujaq, Nunavik, Quebec, Canada. The data come from two different sample locations, one at the top and one at the side of the permafrost mound. The depth of investigation was 3.55 meters for the top of the permafrost mound, and 2 meters for the side of the permafrost mound. Data were collected from 4 July 2014 – 27 June 2021 using Decagon© 5TM volumetric water content and temperature probes. These data support the article Fortier et al. (2023).
