Snow depth_SouthValleyTransects

Snow depths measured manually using a metal probe to penetrate snow from the surface to the ground and reading the depth of the snow. The snow depths in the south valley transects are measured approximately every 25-50 m. in transects across the valley. The snow survey in Kobbefjord has been carried out annually in late winter since 2008. Please contact the ClimateBasis Nuuk manager for detailed snow survey reports.
