Salix phenology in carbondioxide flux plots

The reproductive phenology of Salix glauca is followed in all plots. The total number of catkins in each carbon flux plot is counted on a weekly basis diveded into the number of buds, catkins (male and female) and senescent catkins. Carbon flux plots are manipulated in 3 different ways: Control (C), increased Temperature (T) and Shade (S). For further details, please refer to the newest BioBasis manual available at the website.
