River chemistry is measured at the river outlet close to where it runs into the fiord (Kobbefjord). Measurements in the river have been done since 2009 with a frequency of 2-3 times per week. Over the monitoring period the time of sampling has varied though since 2015 sampling has been measured more consistent around 8:00 (UTC-3 WGWT). Water temperature and conductivity is measured in situ in the stream. A water sample is collected for pH analysis in the afternoon. A two-point pH calibration with pH 4 and pH 7 standards is performed before every pH measurement.
