Open water duration

The duration of the ice-free period (in days) in the outer part of Young Sound for each year. Determined on observations from satellite images and automatic digital camera system (74°18.594'N, 20°12.598'W). For further details, please refer to the newest MarineBasis Zackenberg manual available at the website.
