Soil moisture is measured in 5, 10 and 30 cm under mixed heath vegetation adjacent to the BioBasis phenology plot Pap-3. The soil moisture measurements have been running from 2004 - now. Soil moisture is measured manully every week, during the snow free season. Cables between soil moisture sensor in 30 cm's depth and logger were cut by foxes in 2006 and have not been replaced.
