Meteorological, snow and soil data on shrub tundra at Bylot Island, Canadian High Arctic

These data were obtained on shrub tundra (Salix richardsonii) in the Canadian high Arctic, in Qarlikturvik valley on Bylot Island at 73°11'N, 79°45'W. A 1-year time series of these variables is presented between 20 June 2018 and 1 July 2019. The variables are air temperature, soil temperature at 0 and15 cm depth, and snow temperature at 5.8 cm above ground surface. Snow height and snow thermal conductivity at 3 cm, 13 cm, and 26 cm heights are also presented. Soil moisture content and thermal conductivty at 5 and 15 cm depths are given. Finally, two snow density profiles measured in mid-May 2019 are provided. These data are in support of the article Domine et al. (2022) Nature Geoscience, DOI: XXX
