InteractFen (I5Nf) is one of two automatic energy balance stations in Kobbefjord that was setup in 2011. Data from the station is found under Meteorology (air temperature, relative humidity, radiation, wind, air pressure), Soil Properties (water fraction, ground water level, soil temperatures, electrical conductivity) and Snow Properties (snow temperatures, snow depht). The station is placed in the fen (40 m.a.s.l.) close to the SoilFen (Meteorology, Soil Properties), EddyFen and Methane stations (Flux Monitoring). The meteorological dataset from the station consists of air temperature and relative humidity (2018-2021: Campbell, CS215, 2021-: Vaisala, HMP155) measured in radiation shield 2 m above ground, air pressure (Setra, 278), wind speed and direction (Young, 05103), precipitation (Young, Tipping bucket 52203) and short/long wave incoming/outgoing solar radiation (KippZonen, CNR4) and NDVI (Skye, SKR1840) calculated from the formula (NIR-Red)/(NIR +Red) where Red is measured in 640nm and NIR is measured in 860 nm. All data is logged every 30 minutes (UTC-3 West Greenlandic Winter Time, CR1000X). The station is part of a network of similar energy balance stations. In Kobbefjord a comparable station is placed at the heath (I6Nh). Data comments: The station has suffered from power problems from 2015-2019 causing data gaps in autumn/winter. In June 2018 air temperature, relative humidity and wind sensors were added to the station setup. In 2018 and 2019 the Young sensor had multiple problems and data is missing in periods. An error in the logger program concerning longwave radiation in the time period 2015-06-25 to 2021-06-16 gives a slight overestimation of longwave radiation of 10-20 W/m^2, data is in the proces of being corrected. In 2020-2022 power problems caused data gaps for all measured parameters.
