Environmental data from the Blanc-Sablon station, Quebec, Canada

The datasets in this issue of Nordicana D are data collected from the Blanc-Sablon station, Québec, Canada. It contains data from air and ground temperatures. The available datasets cover the period from 1987-2012. For ground temperature, the depth ranges is 0-1000 cm. Data are available as: (1) recorded data; (2) daily averages; (3) monthly averages; and (4) yearly averages.

Variable measured
  • Variable name: Average air temperature  Variable description: Average data recorded every minute for the previous period. The average is calculated by adding the measured values and then dividing the sum by the number of observations.  Variable unit: Degree Celsius  Variable URL: http://www.cen.ulaval.ca/nordicanad/infounitedonnees.aspx?id=131166
