The automatic weather station AWS3 was installed in July 2013. It is located in the southern part of Blæsedalen (90 meter above sea level) in an open gently rolling area. It is a relatively dry location where the bedrock is only covered by a thin layer of soil with low heath vegetation/dwarf shrubs. The time stamp refer to UTC-3. Soil moisture are measured in 5, 10, 20 and 40 cm´s depth. Soil temperatures measured in the same depth (by the same sensor) exists from July 2018. Find these data under Soil (AWS3-SoilTemperature).
