The automatic weather station AWS2 was installed in August 2012 in Ãsterlien just east of Arctic Station. The station is located approximately 25 meter above sea level in a gentle south sloping area covered by low vegetation/dwarf shrubs. The time stamp refer to UTC-3. Soil temperatures are measured at 10, 20 and 30 cm´s depth and are available from July 2018. Soil moisture from the same depth (measured by the same sensor) exists from November 2012.
